Follow news sources by country
Select a country from the newspaper and news site directory, then search for the desired source and open its website. The star helps you create a personal reading list in your browser without subscription or login.
Start with the country, its name, and its flag
Countries appear in a clear list with a small flag next to each name, with the number of collection entries.
More about Start with the country, its name, and its flag
Select the country from "Browse by Country" to display the group entries registered in the directory. The flag helps with visual recognition, and the country name remains written so you do not have to rely on the flag alone.
Select "All Countries" to expand the search to the full list. The numbers next to countries represent directory entries, and the same source may appear within more than one group.
Some countries group newspapers, news sites, sports, and international sources. Categorizing an entry under a country does not necessarily mean it is a printed newspaper or that its publisher is owned by that country.
Search for the newspaper or site by name
Type the Arabic or English name, or part of it, within the selected country.
More about Search for the newspaper or site by name
The field searches names and addresses registered in the directory. For example, you can select "Qatar" then type "الراية" to reach its card, or use the English name Raya.
Filtering by country and searching work together. If you do not know the country registered for the source, start with "All Countries" then type the name.
The guide does not search news headlines or article texts published on external sites. To access a specific news item, open the source and use the search it provides.
Create a reading list without an account
Save any source with the star, then use "Favorites" to return to your selections.
More about Create a reading list without an account
Press the card star to add the entry to favorites. You can save sources from multiple countries and remove any entry by pressing the same star again.
To show all saved reading sources, select "All Countries", clear the search field, then enable "Favorites". Keeping a country or search phrase active displays only the matching part.
Favorites are specific to the browser and device used. No subscription is required, but they do not sync between devices and may be deleted if you clear site data or if the browser blocks storage.
Read the news on its source site
"Visit site" opens the publisher's site in a new tab, keeping the directory available.
More about Read the news on its source site
Press the source card or "Visit website" to open the listed address. Reading is done on the external site; the directory does not republish articles or display newspaper pages in an iframe inside the site.
Check the news date, publisher name, and article context at the destination you visit. The presence of a source in the directory is not an endorsement of the accuracy of everything it publishes.
The publisher may require a subscription or login to read some content. Reading terms, cookies, and privacy policy are determined by each site individually.
Navigate between pages or remove filtering
Use the results counter and page buttons so you do not miss sources outside the current screen.
More about Navigate between pages or remove filtering
The page displays up to 24 cards. A country or broad search may span multiple pages; use "Next" and "Previous" below the cards to access the rest of the entries.
The results counter reflects everything that matches your choices, not just the cards visible on the page. Selecting a new country or editing the search starts from the first page.
If no results appear, try a shorter part of the name or use «Show all» to remove the search, country, and favorites filter. Category and search links remain available without JavaScript, while favorites require it to be enabled.
Processing information
Interactive filtering works after the guide loads in your browser. Saved source IDs are stored locally without an account, and the country and search phrase may appear in the page title. When you open a source, you leave for an external site that applies its own policies.
