How do you find a documentary channel and save it to your favorites?
If you want to explore documentary content, start with the category then search for the desired channel. We will use «ناشيونال جيوجرافي» as an example to save a link in favorites, with viewing and program availability remaining on the channel's own site.

Selecting "Documentaries" showed two channels, then searching for National Geographic showed "ناشيونال جيوجرافي" alone, which was saved to favorites.
This is a real filter result in the i2Arabic directory as of 30 October 2026. The entry remained saved after reloading the page. The numbers describe example data and do not indicate stream availability at the external destination.
1. Select a documentary category
Open the TV directory, then select "Documentaries" from "Browse by Category". The displayed cards change to keep only what matches this category.
When preparing this example, the directory contained 95 entries, and the documentaries category showed two channels. These are experimental numbers and not a promise of a fixed count; the directory may change over time.
A channel may appear in more than one category, so the sum of category numbers does not have to equal the number of unique channels in the general list.
2. Narrow down the list by channel name
Type National Geographic in the "Search for a channel..." field. In the example, one entry appears with the Arabic name "ناشيونال جيوجرافي". The search also checks the English name, so you do not need to guess how to write the name in Arabic.
Remember that search works within the chosen category. If you search for a news channel while inside Documentaries, you might not find it until you return to "All Channels".
Do not search by the name of an episode you expect this guide to find; the tool searches for channel entries, while episodes and programs are searched for on the site you visit.
3. Add channel to favorites
Press the star on the "ناشيونال جيوجرافي" card. The card becomes saved without login or subscription.
Press "Favorites" next to the search to show saved results matching the current filter. In our example, one channel appears because we saved only this entry.
To configure a broader list, turn off the favorites filter, clear the search, browse other categories, and save what you need. To show the full saved list, return to "All Channels" with an empty search field.
4. Open the channel website when you want to watch
Press "Visit website" on the card. The browser opens the channel address registered in a new tab, and you can return to the i2Arabic tab to continue browsing.
The guide does not play video inside the page and does not bypass channel terms. The destination may display clips, programs, or broadcasts, and may require a subscription or restrict content by country.
The example verified the card link and its intended opening in a new tab, and saving and filtering within i2Arabic. This does not constitute verification of the availability of a broadcast or program on the channel.
5. Return to your selections later
When returning from the browser itself, press "Favorites" to retrieve your list of selections. In the experiment, the channel star remained saved after reloading the directory page.
If a saved channel does not appear, clear the search and select «All channels» first. If you deleted site data or moved to another device, you may need to re-save your choices.
You can remove a channel from the list by pressing its star again. This does not affect the channel's site or any subscription you may have there.
FAQ
Can the channel be watched inside i2Arabic?
The directory opens the channel site in a new tab and does not use an in-page stream player. Watchability is determined on the channel's site.
Does saving a channel to favorites require an account?
No. Channel IDs are saved locally in the browser, and pressing the star is sufficient.
Why do not all my channels appear when opening favorites?
Search and classification remain applied to favorites. Clear the search term and select "All Channels" to show the full saved list.
Do favorites remain on both phone and computer?
No account synchronization. Each browser and device has its local data, and deleting site data may remove selections.
